UPDATE: Friday, April 24

CINCINNATI  (FOX19) -- A Hamilton County Judge set bond for Piankhi Grimes at 10 million dollars this morning.   As Grimes left the courtroom he waved at some at some of the spectators in the courtroom.  Others yelled obscenities at him thru the glass that separates the courtroom workers and audience.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)-- Police have arrested the man they say shot seven people and killed two at a local bar last weekend.

29-year-old Pinkie Grimes has surrendered himself to Homicide Unit Detectives accompanied by counsel.

No court date has been set. 

He was wanted in the shooting deaths of 30-year-old Shawn Evans and Dimetrius Baylor in the Grimes Bar on April 18. Grimes is also accused of injuring several other people in the shooting.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police have named a suspect in the shooting that killed two people and injured several others.

Warrants have been signed for 29-year-old Piankhi Grimes. He is charged with the murders of Shawn Evans and Dimetius Baylor after a bar shooting on Beekman Street Saturday.

Grimes is considered armed and dangerous. His last know address is in the 6200 block of Corbly Road.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a shooting that killed two people and sent seven others to the hospital early Saturday morning.

Police say they were called to the Grimes bar, located at the 3400 block of Beekman Street, for a report of a shooting.

Inside the establishment they found 30-year-old Shawn Evans and 35-year-old Dimetius Baylor shot to death.

Seven other people were taken to University Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital where they are being treated for gunshot wounds.

So far, no suspects have been found.

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory released a statement about the shooting:

"Our community must not stand for this kind of violence. We must be united in our effort to keep out community safe. It is unacceptable for anyone who has information about this shooting not come forward and share that information to police. "

"I offer my deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of this senseless act"
