DEER PARK, OH (FOX19) - Police had a bona fide escape artist on their hands after making a drunk driving arrest Sunday night in Deer Park.
Police say Dustin Carr, 28, took off after taking a sobriety test. He was tackled not far away.
Both Carr and the officer were slightly hurt in the scuffle, so police took Carr to University Hospital.
Investigators say Carr walked away from there and apparently went to his mother's house.
Police negotiated with Carr's family, who agreed to turn him in. He was with his mother on the way to the police station when he tried to run a third time in front of a shopping center.
He's charged with escape, driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
