CINCINNATI, (FOX19) - 

UPDATE:

Police say Brandon Anderson turned himself into police on Monday afternoon.

He will be arraigned on Tuesday.


UPDATE:

A murder warrant has been signed for a suspect they say killed a man on his birthday.

Police have signed a warrant for 25-year-old Brandon Anderson. He's accused of shooting 22-year-old Jeremy Nelson at the 800 block of Findlay Street.

Anderson is known to frequent the neighborhoods of Fairmount, Westwood, and the West End.

PREVIOUSLY:

Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Thursday in the West End.

Just before 8 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of Findlay Street on a report of a person shot.

Upon arrival, police found Jeremy Nelson, 22, dead from a gunshot wound.

Thursday was Nelson's birthday.
