UPDATE: January murder suspect turns himself in

The Hamilton County Sheriff's office reports that a suspect in a deadly Colerain shooting has turned himself in.

Jahmarr Johnson, 25, is now in police custody. He is charged with Murder and Aggravated Robbery.

Investigators say that Johnson and another suspect broke into a home armed with weapons in Colerain Township in January of this year. The resident of the home and the suspects were involved in a gun battle. One of the suspects died from his injuries.

Johnson is being transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -  The Hamilton County Sheriff named Jahmarr Johnson a suspect in a January murder and is now searching for him.

Johnson, 25, of Cincinnati, wanted on murder and aggravated robbery charges after a home invasion robbery and shootout in Colerain Township. 

Police believe that Johnson was one of two men who broke into the residence in the Burgundy Court Apartments on Rocker Drive around 11PM that evening.  The other suspect died after being shot several times.

Johnson was believed to have been injured during the gun battle and escaped the complex on foot.

Jahmarr M. Johnson is 5'9' tall, about 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.  His last know address was 2253 Rice Street in Cincinnati.
