READING, OH (FOX19) - Police made an arrest in a Reading bank robbery on Wednesday.

Reading Police, along with the U. S. Marshals, Cincinnati Police and Florence Police, have arrested Herbert Franklin for the robbery of a Fifth Third Bank in Reading on May 21. Franklin was tracked at a Motel 6 in Florence, Ky.  and was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was identified with help from Crimestoppers

Franklin is currently being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center after waving extradition in Kentucky. He is charged with Aggravated Robbery and Having Weapons Under Disability.

READING, OH (FOX19) - Police are looking for a suspect who robbed the Fifth Third Bank in Reading.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Benson and Reading.

The suspect implied he had a gun, but none was shown.

No one was injured, and the suspect got away with an unspecified amount of cash.
