CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

UPDATE:

Roger Tucker was sentenced Monday to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

He could have been sentenced to death for the purposeful killing of Herbert Abraham.

PREVIOUSLY:

A man was found guilty Wednesday of the purposeful killing of an elderly man in 2008.

A jury found Roger Tucker, 37, guilty of killing 83-year-old Hebert Abraham. He was also found guilty of aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery for stealing Abraham's car.

He now faces the death penalty.

Tucker broke in to Abraham's apartment in June of 2008 and strangled him to death. He was arrested in Park Hills, Ky. for outstanding warrants after he was found driving the wrong way on a street.
