Police bust meth lab in Grant Co.

DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) - Police have busted a meth lab in Grant County.

The initial complaint came on May 23 as a burglary in progress in the 10 block of Easy Street in Dry Ridge. Upon entering the residence, officers noticed a strong smell indicating the presence of a methamphetamine lab.

During the investigation, officers found pre-cursors, and active meth lab and finished manufactured meth.

James C. Willen, 28, of Williamstown, and Lanny D. Slaughter, 33, of Dry Ridge, have each been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Both are being held in the Grant County Detention Center.
