GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Four people are in custody after they robbed a store at gunpoint then fled from police Thursday afternoon.

A short time after 3 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies and Green Township Police responded to an aggravated robbery at the Bridgetown Mini Mart at the 4200 block of Harrison Avenue.

As officers were going to the scene, they noticed a blue Ford Explorer leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. They found out that the occupants were involved in the mini mart robbery.

Police chased the Explorer until in crashed unto a street sign near the intersection of Glenmore and Woodbine in Cheviot. After the crash, three males and one female fled on foot. A short time later all four suspects were found and taken into custody.

An investigation found that three males entered the business, displayed handguns and demanded money from the store clerk and a delivery person. After the suspect took the cash they left the scene in the Explorer where the female suspect was waiting.

All of the suspects were being taken to Hamilton County Sheriff's headquarters for questioning. So far no one has been charged at this time.
