FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) - Police have arrested and charged three people who are accused of stealing and trying to pawn $20,000 worth of jewelry.
On Monday, a resident reported to Fort Thomas police that their home had been burglarized and $20,000 worth of jewelry had been taken. Detectives had learned that two men who were landscapers at the home may have been involved.
Police alerted pawn shops of the stolen jewelry and received a call that Michael Bass had come and pawned the jewelry in Taylor Mill. Joseph Burchfield and Marcus Henry Jr. were located and arrested based on information police received. According to police, they claimed to have found the jewelry.
Bass was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $300. He could face up to five years in prison if he is convicted.
Burchfield and Henry Jr. are both charged with Second degree burglary and could serve a ten year sentence if they are convicted.
