CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The public was invited to tour former schools buildings on Monday before they hit the auction block on Tuesday.
Nine former Cincinnati Public School buildings are being auctioned Tuesday at 1 p.m. at CPS' Education Center on Burnet Ave. in Corryville.
On Monday, the public was invited to tour these buildings.
The former schools are historic buildings that were built as early as 1876, but are no longer usable as schools.
The former schools or sites are: Lafayette Bloom School, Baymiller St., West End; Bramble Academy, Homer Ave., Madisonville; Fairview German Language School, Stratford Ave., University Heights; Heberle School, Freeman Ave., West End; Linwood Fundamental Academy, Eastern Ave., Linwood; McKinley School, Eastern Ave., East End; Theodore Roosevelt School, Tremont Ave. and Waverly Ave., South Fairmount; Swifton School, Rhode Island Ave., Bond Hill; and Windsor School, Windsor Ave., Walnut Hills.
Two of the sites will be sold no matter what. CPS is have the right to accept or reject the other seven offers.
