UNION, KY (FOX19) - A local teacher is under arrest for having a relationship with a 17-year-old student.
Jason Collins-Baker, 31, of Union, is a teacher and track coach at Cooper High School. He has been charged with two counts of sexual abuse after investigators determined he had been involved with the teen, who graduated this year, throughout the school year.
Police say the two would meet at Collins-Baker's home and there was no inappropriate behavior on school grounds other than discreet communication.
Collins-Baker is also a former receiver for the University of Cincinnati football team.
Collins-Baker is being held at the Boone County Detention Center.
