UPDATE: Golf course clubhouse fire ruled arson

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Division State  Fire Marshal investigators have ruled the Monday golf course clubhouse fire as arson.

A reward of $5,000 is being offered to anyone with information leading to the identification of whomever was involved in the fire that destroyed the Indian Ridge Golf course clubhouse.

Officials say they have ruled out all accidental causes and found that the fire was intentionally set.

Fire crews say that the estimated damage is $1 million.

UPDATE: A fire at a local golf clubhouse rekindled Tuesday morning.

Investigators were on the scene to continue the investigation when fire was discovered in a concealed space in the remaining portion of the roof.

Local fire departments were called back to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The overall cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The golf course remains open.


The Ohio State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire at a local golf clubhouse.

Officials say the fire started around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Indian Ridge Golf Course in Hamilton Township. The fire completely destroyed the structure.

Investigators are interviewing first responders, employees and witnesses trying to figure out what sparked the fire. At this time, it is unsafe for investigators to enter the building.

Officials say it is too early to determine if the fire is accidental or intentional, and an origin has not yet been determined. The investigation will continue throughout the day.
