Hamilton cutting salaries

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - The City of Hamilton is slashing salaries.

City leaders agreed to a five percent cut for non-union employees who make more than $35,000 a year.

Fifteen police employees were also cut, mostly office workers.  Hamilton is trying cut more than $3 million from its budget.

The fire department is also working on a cost cutting plan. It will be presented to Hamilton city council next week.
