A grand jury has indicted Gerald Wilson and Christopher Shaun Alexander for a double murder in Walnut Hills.
Alexander was indicted on one count of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault. Wilson was indicted on murder and felonious assault.
UPDATE JULY 9:
The second suspect in a double homicide during the Fourth of July weekend has been arrested.
On Thursday at 6:30 p.m., the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested 24-year-old Gerald Willson. He was located at a friend's house on East McMicken Avenue. Deputies surrounded the complex and Wilson attempted to run out the back door and was arrested.
Police say Wilson was involved in the shooting deaths of Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport on Lincoln Avenue.
Officials say the the suspect has a lengthy criminal record that includes felonious assaults and robberies.
A second suspect is now wanted in the double homicide that took place Fourth of July Weekend in Walnut Hills.
A murder warrant was signed Wednesday for 24-year-old Gerald Wilson. Wilson is described as a black male who stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. His last known address is in the 2300 block of Nova Avenue. Wilson is considered armed and dangerous.
Police say he is the second suspect involved in the shooting deaths of 48-year-old Kenneth Gaines and 51-year-old Mark Davenport on July 3.
Police arrested the first suspect, Christopher Alexander, turned himself into police after warrants were signed for his arrest. He is currently being held on a $2 million bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
UPDATE: Christopher Shaun Alexander turned himself into police at 11 a.m. Monday morning. He was arrested in Carthage.
He was arraigned Tuesday morning on two counts of murder. His bond is $2 million.
UPDATE: Cincinnati Police have issued a warrant for Christopher Shaun Alexander for a double murder in Walnut Hills.
Police believed Alexander shot and killed Kenneth Gaines and Mark Davenport on Friday night.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police are investigating a deadly shooting Friday night.
A short time before 11 p.m., Cincinnati Police officers were called to the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found 48-year-old Kenneth Gaines and 51-year-old Mark Davenport dead at the location.
