Murder/Suicide in Colerain Township

Hamilton County Sheriffs has released more details in the murder/suicide that occurred in Colerain Township.

Officials say the victim was 53-year-old Pamela Hardy. The Shooter was her ex-husband, 62-year-old James Donaldson. The two were married for four years and finalized their divorce in April of this year.

On Friday night while Hardy and her sister Deborah Smith were a sleep in their home at the 3600 block of Twinview Drive, Donaldson forced his way into their home by breaking down the door. Donaldson then confronted his ex-wife, shot her, they turned the gun on himself.

Pamela's sister called 911 after she was awaken by the commotion. Officials say that there was no documented cases of domestic violence between the two prior to the incident.

The incident will remain under investigation.

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)-- Hamilton County Sheriffs are investigating a  double shooting that occurred late Friday night.

A short time before midnight, The Colerain Township Police Department were called to the 3600 block of Twinview Drive  to investigate a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived they found 2 people shot. Both victims died from their injuries and officials believe that this was a domestic related murder/suicide.

The identities of the persons involved has not been released.
