CINCINNATI(FOX19) - The Butler County Krispy Kreme factory in Monroe is out 40-thousand dollars after being fined by the federal "ICE" unit.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement fined Krispy Kreme for violations of immigration laws. The plant on Lawton Ave employed less than 25 alleged illegals as general labors.
According to ICE Krispy Kreme has resolved all issues with the workers by paying the fine and resolving the residency status of the employees.
