CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A teenager is dead after a single car crash in Clearcreek Township.
Police say Andrew Worley, 17, was driving home from work just before 10 p.m. Thursday on Weidner Road when his car left the road, went into a ditch, and hit a tree. The car then burst into flames.
Police say speed was a factor. It's unclear if the teen was wearing a seatbelt because the damage to his vehicle was so extensive.
The accident remains under investigation.
Worley would have been a senior at Franklin High School. He was on the swim team at the school, and qualified for the state swim meet last year.
