HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - A Boone County man is behind bars, accused of murdering his 2-month-old daughter.

Benjamin Senseman, 30, was arrested and charged with one count of murder.

He pled not guilty in court on Tuesday.

Police say Hebron EMS was called to the 1800 block of Princess Court on Sunday afternoon for a report of an infant not breathing. EMS personnel performed life saving measures and transported the baby to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, where she was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner determined the baby died of head trauma.

Investigators charged the father after interviewing him. Police say the mother was at work at the time of the incident.

Senseman is being held without bond in the Boone County Jail. He will be in court again on Monday.
