HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - The dog warden is filing charges against a father whose daughter was attacked by the family pit bull earlier this week.

Christopher Tunstall faces charges of failure to control a vicious animal and failure to have liability insurance.

Hamilton Police are not filing charges against Tunstall or his wife, who was home at the time of the attack.

Tunstall will be in municipal court on July 29. Police say he is remorseful over what happened.

The dog was put down on Wednesday.
