Four arrested in Madison drug bust

MADISON, IN (FOX19)-- A complaint leads to the arrest of four people charged with multiple drug offenses.

A concerned citizen called Madison Police for a report of possible drug activity at the 300 block of East Street. Indiana State and Madison Police responded to the residence and smelled the odor of burnt marijuana. The detained the four people in the home and issued a search warrant.

During the search, officials found 12 marijuana plants, processed marijuana, and several articles of paraphernalia in the home. All of the suspect were charged and arrested.

Those arrested include:

19-year-old Jazmyn Potts for Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Possession of Paraphernalia

18-year-old Elisha Clark for Visiting a Common Nuisance

42-year-old Johnna Potts for Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Cultivating Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction.

29-year-old Scott Chatham for Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, and Dealing in Marijuana

All four suspect are being held at the Jefferson County Jail.
