HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - Police have identified the victim of a crash on I-275 in Hebron.

Police say Lawrence Sandmann, 75, of Cincinnati, may have suffered a medical condition when he crashed his car around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Sandmann was driving westbound when he lost control of his car, struck and guard rail and then ran into the rear of a tractor trailer and then back into the guard rail.

The tractor trailer continued on but was believed stopped by Dearborn County, Ind. for identification. The driver was not injured.

Sandmann was taken to the hospital where he died.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the collision. Preliminary indications are that Sandmann experienced a medical episode.
