WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police are investigating the discovery of a body in an apartment on Grasselli Ave.

Officers found a 57-year-old Veronica Cooper-Bryant just before 4 p.m. Sunday.

The homicide unit at the coroner's office is investigating the woman's death. However, the coroner's office was closed Monday, the first of 10 furlough days this year to help cut costs.

The Hamilton County coroner's office and morgue were closed Monday, the first of 10 furlough days this year to help cut costs. The crime lab remained open.

Coroner O'dell Owens recently announced all full-time employees must take 10 furlough days this year because of a county revenue shortfall.
