UPDATE: Suspect arrested for firing shots at officers

WALNUT HILLS, OH (FOX19) - Shots were fired at Cincinnati Police Officers overnight in Walnut Hills.

It happened just before midnight in the 3200 block of Rammelsburg Street.

Police say Charles Bryant, 32, fired shots after he was pulled over for a traffic violation near Mathers and Blair Ave. After a brief traffic pursuit, the Bryant exited the vehicle and fired the shots and three officers.

Two of the three officers returned fire, but no one was injured.

The suspect then fled on foot. He was arrested a short time later in the 3100 block of Kerper Ave. He faces three counts of felonious assault on a police officer.

Two women inside the car were also questioned, but its not clear if they were involved.
