Judge: Confession allowed in rock-throwing case

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County juvenile court judge ruled Wednesday that a teen's confession in a rock-throwing case will be allowed as evidence.

The 16-year-old was arrested last month for throwing rocks onto Columbia Parkway. There were at least a dozen reports of damage, and one of the rocks severely injured 23-year-old Joyce Baresel, who was riding in a cab.

Police say the teen admitted to throwing the rocks "for fun."

Another suspect in the case was not indicted by a grand jury and was set free.

Another hearing is set for Aug. 26.
