COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a home invasion at a Colerain Township apartment.

Police say three armed and masked men entered an apartment at the Northgate Meadows Complex around 2:30 a.m.

Investigators say the three armed men with hand guns forced their way into the apartment and stole a small amount of cash from a family living in one of the units. They also went through the apartment looking for additional items and then exited the apartment and headed in an unknown direction.

Two adults and a toddler were home at the time of the robbery, but no one was hurt.

The family tells police they don't know who the suspects are. Police say they will be back out to the complex to interview neighbors, but at this time have no viable leads.

The suspects were wearing masks, but police say they are described as black males and short in stature, around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8. They were all wearing white T-shirts. One was carrying a .357 caliber handgun, another was carrying a 9mm automatic and the third suspect was carrying an unknown type handgun.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040 or Patrol Headquarters at 513-825-1500.
