U.S. Playing Card moves to N. Ky.

ERLANGER, KY (FOX19) - The U.S. Playing Card company has officially opened its global headquarters in Erlanger.

Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear and several state and local officials were on hand for a grand opening ceremony on Thursday morning.

The move to the 570,000 square-foot facility in Erlanger means the company will be one of the Top 10 employers in northern Kentucky. The company has been in the Cincinnati-area since 1867. It moved to Erlanger from a facility in Norwood.

USPC is best known for its playing card brands Bee, Bicycle, Aviator and Hoyle. The company produces more than 400,000 decks of playing cards each day.
