FOX19.com Midday Update

Good afternoon! Here is your midday update from FOX19.com:

New data was released this morning by the US Census Bureau, and it reveals some not-so-good news about uninsured Americans.

Health care was the topic of an address last night by President Obama. But it didn't happen without some drama.

In a few hours, we should know the result of a vote by union members over whether or not to allow concessions in order to save jobs.

A report has been released over the tasing of councilman Cecil Thomas' daughter. See what it says.

Kentucky lawmakers will be getting less coffee and Pepsi. Find out why.

And a former coach at UK checks into rehab.

There are mixed reviews over the person who's been announced as American Idol's newest judge.

FOX19.com must click of the day: Got two. An Ohio robbery suspect comes back to ask his victim out on a date, and a cat in Franklin survives nearly a month under fire rubble.

Today on the FOX19.com video page: Some great clips from our morning show this morning! Victoria Rowell stopped by for a visit, and you definitely want to check out a band's performance (their song was all about a beer gut!)

One more day for a chance of rain, then your weekend looks a lot better! Get your complete forecast.

Satellite loops indicate a patch of thick, low cloud cover is currently heading west and trying to move out of the FOX19 viewing area. It is only about 1000 ft. thick and sunshine will eventually break through and we will have a partly cloudy afternoon.

A few thunderstorms could develop this afternoon and it looks like we will see them over the eastern counties of the FOX19 viewing area.  As I track a weak upper disturbance moving through the upper low it looks like Adams, Lewis, Mason Brown, Bracken and Robertson are the most likely to see rain while everyone else should stay dry.
