Total Time: 45 to 50 minutes
4 slices loaf bread-trim off edges
4 or 5 apples
1-teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1-cup sugar
1-egg beaten
1-stick maragine
1. Put apples in a pie pan, greased with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg, mix together over peeled apples.
2. Slice loaf bread in quarters. Put sliced bread on top of pie.
3. Mix sugar, egg, melted margarine together. Pour mixture over top of the pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
