Previous Story:

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in West Chester.

A short time after 8 p.m., police were called to the North Pointe Apartments for a report of a large fight in the area. When police arrived, they found 15-year-old Amber Robinson suffering from a stab wound in the back.

She was transported to Mercy Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Robinson was a sophomore at Lakota West. Lakota Local Schools Community Relations Director Laura Kursman says grief counselors are available at Lakota West. Kursman says Robinson was described as a sweet girl, and a hard-working student.

West Chester Police have charged Khrendon Gray, 18, with murder. He is being held on a $1 million bond.

Police say they are unsure if Robinson and Gray knew each other, and its unclear how many people were involved in the fight. Police responded to the fight earlier in the evening, but it had broken up by the time they got there. However, after police left the first time, the fight broke out again, resulting in the stabbing of Robinson.
