MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a deadly accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
A short time before 2 p.m., the Middletown Police responded to a traffic accident at North Clinton Street and Manchester Avenue.
Officials discovered that Jerry Ondersma was traveling west on Manchester when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Manchester and North Clinton. Ondersma's truck was struck by a semi- truck driven by James Franklin.
A passenger with Jerry Ondersma, Gordon Ondersma, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Jerry Ondersma was taken to Atrium Hospital by the Middletown Fire Department.
