NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A chase that began in Norwood ended on the campus of Xavier University.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. when a Norwood officer began chasing the driver. The chase made its way onto Xavier, where the driver hit a Xavier Police cruiser that was occupied by a university officer.
Both the cruiser and the suspect's vehicle went into a residence hall.
Xavier Police say their officer went to the hospital to be checked out, but no one else was hurt.
The suspect was taken into custody, but that person's name and charges have not been released.
