RICHWOOD, KY (FOX19) - Police in Boone County are investigating a robbery at the Waffle House in Richwood.
The cook at the restaurant says a man came in about 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, used the restroom, then sat down and ordered coffee. The suspect then jumped over the counter with a "Crocodile Dundee-style" knife and demanded money.
The cook gave the suspect the money, and the robber fled on foot toward the Econo Lodge.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6'01" tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair (military cut) and goatee wearing a white hoodie, baggy blue jeans, and white athletic shoes.
