Woman pleads not guilty to hitting teen

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The woman accused of killing a 16-year-old St. Xavier student when she hit him while he crossed the street has pleaded not guilty.

Portia Hudson, 58, faces charges of vehicular manslaughter and disobeying a traffic signal for her role in the death of Kevin Le, 16.

Police say she ran a red light and hit Le as he was crossing Route 4 at Boymel Road.

Her attorney says she thought a traffic light had turned green just prior to the fatal collision.
