HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Testimony continued Thursday in the trial of Dr. Mark Blankenburg, the Butler County pediatrician facing sex and drug charges.
A girlfriend of one of Dr. Blankenburg's alleged victims took the stand first Thursday morning.
Tracy Fields says her boyfriend told her that Dr. Blankenburg molested him when he was 14 years old, and paid him to be quiet about it.
Fields said eventually her boyfriend told her where all this money was coming from. She also testified that she received $10,000 from the doctor for what she called "hush money."
From 2005 to 2008, Fields claims Blankenburg gave her and her boyfriend of 14 years money for paying for "rent, electric bills, furniture, cable bills, car repairs and baby formula."
She also told the jury that her boyfriend claimed to have sexual encounters with Dr. Mark Blankenburg, and his twin brother, Scott. (Scott Blankenburg faces trial in April on similar charges.)
Fields's boyfriend testified Wednesday, but objected to having his testimony recorded. He told the told the jury that Dr. Mark Blankenburg sexually abused him at his first doctor visit when he was 14, and later added that when he was 16, he would go to the doctor's home, drink whiskey and watch pornography.
On Thursday afternoon, another alleged victim took the stand. This witness is currently serving 85 years in prison in Lebanon for trying to kill a police officer. He testified that both Dr. Mark and Dr. Scott molested him when he was younger.
