6 strips of bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 med. head of cabbage
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
Brown chopped bacon in skillet,add onion when bacon is almost crip. Cook until onion is tender and add chopped cabbage. Cover and cook on med heat 15 mins. Stirring occasionally. Add mixture of vinegar and brown sugar, lower heat,cover,cook, stir untill as tender as you wish. (Be careful that brown sugar mixture does not burn.)
