CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County man faces several charges after police say he was caught getting ready to sell drugs, then led police on a chase.

Deandre Shannon, 18, faces charges of failure to comply, tampering with evidence, possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.

Police say Shannon was observed 1,000 feet within Walnut Hills High School getting ready to sell cocaine. When officers approached, Shannon got into his car, and led police on a chase through residential streets, approaching speeds of 55 miles per hour.

At some point during the chase, police say Shannon threw drugs out the window. He was taken into custody on Ridgeway Road, and found to have crack cocaine in his pocket.
