Recipe from Lynn Petty from Ala.
Can use leftover or deli ham
1 pkg. cheese ( cheddar or Pepper Jack)
1 foil pan of dinner rolls
Sauce:
1 stick oleo or butter, melted
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. finely grated onion
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Melt oleo/butter and add remaining sauce ingredients. Break pan of rolls into 3 rows. Slice each row open. Lay top to the side. Spread sauce on both sides of rolls. Add ham and cheese. Place top roll slice on sandwich. Place back in foil pan. Bake if rolls are really fresh at 250 degrees for 20 minutes.
Can make ahead of time and freeze.
