3 arrested in Colerain Township drug bust

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Three men have been arrested after a drug bust in Colerain Township.

Charles Lee, 25, Edward Kinnett, 27, and Joseph Maupin, 30, all of Colerain Township, were arrested Tuesday evening after an undercover investigation by the Colerain Police Undercover Unit.

Officers observed Maupin entering a residence on Banning Road. The officers knew he had multiple warrants and entered the residence to arrest him. Once inside, the officers located a large quantity of drugs and cash.

Police recovered crack cocaine, 12 packages of heroin and $9,000 in cash. Maupin was charged with eight warrants, one being a felony indictment for drug possession and possessing drug abuse instruments. Lee was charged with two counts of drug possession and two counts of trafficking. Kinnett was charged with permitting drug abuse and an open warrant.

All three men were taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. A mug shot for Edward Kinnett was not yet available.
