Florence robber accused of stealing purses

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - On Wednesday, 45-year-old Timothy Hill was arrested in connection with two robberies.

Police say the first Incident occurred on Oct. 23 in the parking lot of the 7600 block of Doering Drive. Hill waited until he saw a female walking alone. He came up behind the victim and grabbed he purse from her shoulder, dragging her to the ground. Hill then ran to his car and drove away. The victim was not injured.

The second incident occurred on Oct. 25 at the same location. Hill waited until he saw another female walking alone. He approached the victim and took her purse from a shopping cart. The victim then chased Hill to his car and jumped on the hood in an attempt to keep him from driving off. She was thrown from the car as Hill drove away. She was not injured.

Hill is now facing two counts of Robbery and being held at the Boone County Jail.
