EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - An Evanston man was sentenced Friday for shooting his wife, then causing a crash that injured several people.

Matthew Burton, 56, was sentenced to 22 years behind bars.

Burton pled guilty to attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault last month. He shot his wife, Siri, in May after she got out of her car at their home. Burton then took off, crashed a car on the Ridge Avenue ramp to the Norwood Lateral, causing several other cars to crash and seriously injuring another woman.
