COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A Kenton County jury is recommending 30 years in prison for 23-year-old Aaron Ellis, the man convicted Thursday of shaking his girlfriend's baby to death.

Not much remorse on the face of Allen, when he took the stand in his own defense offering his version of how young Robert Bradley Ross Jr. died in July.

Allen says he was drinking, doing crack cocaine, smoking marijuana, watching porn and masturbating before he shook the baby because the infant just wouldn't stop crying.

The jury found Allen guilty early Thursday afternoon, then made the 30-year recommendation.
