ELSMERE, KY (FOX19)- The Kentucky Crime Prevention Coalition can continue its Underage Drinking Prevention programs, thanks to an $87,600 grant from the state.
The money will go to pay for a full-time Youth Program Coordinator, responsible for presenting the "Fatal Experience Driving Simulation" and "Hands On Student Simulation" programs to students across Kentucky. The program is provided free of charge to Middle Schools and High Schools. The High School program involves the students driving a special Neighborhood Electric Vehicle through a course and the Middle School program uses a special Mobility Scooter.
