LOCKLAND, OH (FOX19) - An early morning fire Monday morning did about $75,000 damage to J&R Trucking in Lockland.
Lockland firefighters say the fire started about 2:30 a.m. Monday morning in a trailer that holds offices for the company. It spread to two other buildings.
No official word on how the fire started, but Lockland police say they called out the Hamilton County arson team as a precaution, after something the owner told them.
"They have had problem, or complaints, I guess threats made from past employees. Due to the economy they had to let some drivers go. So again, I would rather error on the safe side and have the arson team come out and investigate." says Chief Weshans of the Lockland Fire Department.
