CINCINNATI OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Bengals helped raise nearly five tons of food for the hungry at Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Bengal fans donated 9,234 pounds of non-perishable and canned goods, and $11,061 in cash donations for the FreeStore Foodbank.  That's an increase from 2008 where fans donated  7,630 pounds and $8,020.

The Freestore Foodbank says the donations will go to provide thousands of meals for disadvantaged people in the Tri-state.
