CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Loveland man caught the biggest fish in Hamilton County Park District history.

Dwight Kidwell, Jr., caught a 95-pound catfish Saturday at Lake Isabella.

“I had the pleasure of weighing the largest Blue catfish I have ever seen caught,” said Harry Scott, Lake Isabella Harbor Manager.

Kidwell says he has been fishing at Lake Isabella since he was a kid, but never caught such a big fish there. His fish was the biggest ever caught at the lake and a near-record in the state of Ohio.

Kidwell said he used trout as bait and it took him 40 minutes to land the fish and it took two men to pick it up and put it in a net to weigh it. After taking some great photos of the fish, Kidwell released back into Lake Isabella alive and well.
