SILVERTON, OH (FOX19) - A Silverton man is behind bars after police say he hit a repossession man with his car.

Police say Charles Alexander, 41, was upset with the fact that his car was being towed, and he convinced the repo man, Bill Stump, to let him remove some items from the car.

The car was already on the tow truck, but Alexander hopped in, put the car in reverse and drove off, hitting Stump in the process.

Alexander was caught after a short chase. He faces charges of attempted vehicular assault.
