ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two people are dead after an accident in Anderson Township.

It happened in the 5600 block of Salem Road just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a Ford Thunderbird driven by Nannette Kleiber, 43, of Cincinnati, was traveling eastbound when she failed to traverse a rightbound curve. Her vehicle crossed the center line and was struck in the passenger side door by a 1999 Toyota Avalon that was traveling westbound and operated by Julia Fries, 73, of Cincinnati.

Both drivers were taken to University Hospital. Kleiber was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her husband, Jack Kleiber, 73, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fries is listed in stable condition.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash, and everyone was wearing seat belts.
