COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Police have arrested a number of people who they say were involved in drug trafficking.
Crimes suppression Unit Detectives, and the Covington Police have conducted a four month investigation in regards to drug trafficking in Covington.
A total of 54 individuals are wanted in connection with drug trafficking crimes. Thirty of them are wanted for trafficking cocaine and nine are wanted for trafficking heroin.
Officials say that the rest of those wanted are charged with various offenses including trafficking marijuana within 1000 yards of a school, and selling pills like methodone, oxycodone, and vicodin.
Police say that 21 of the 54 suspects have been arrested and a currently being held at the Kenton County Detention Center.
