NEWPORT, KY (FOX19) - Police raided two bars in Newport overnight.

Campbell County attorney James Daley says the Newport Police Department seized guns, drugs, records and cash from The Brass Mule and The Brass Bull, both on Monmouth Street.

Daley says the raids are related to an undercover investigation that has been ongoing for eight weeks that centers around prostitution.

Five people have been arrested, and more arrests are coming. The names of those arrested have not yet been released.
