Bomb threat made at Middletown High School

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a bomb threat made at Middletown High School Tuesday morning.

A short time after 10:30am, the Middletown Police received a 911 call from a male stating that there was a bomb at the Middletown High School. officials say that they did not believe that the threat was credible and that it lacked specifics.

Middletown High school officials and the School Resource Officer was notified of the call. Police responded to the school and began investigating different leads at different locations within the city.

School officials decided to evacuate the building and with a Middletown Police bomb sniffing K9, conducted a search throughout the building. No evidence of a bomb was located.

Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Middletown Police at 513-425-7737.
